The Wharton School, established in 1881 and based at the University of Pennsylvania, is the world’s first collegiate business school. Focus on Higher Colleges of Technology

Founded in 1988 with four colleges, the Higher Colleges of Technology has grown to be the largest of the higher educational institutions in the UAE, gaining a well-respected reputation for innovative learning. The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research & Training (CERT) is the commercial, research and training arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), which is the largest higher education institution in the United Arab Emirates.

Since its creation in 1996, CERT has grown to be one of the largest private education providers in the Middle East and has become synonymous with quality in education, training, research, and socioeconomic progress. The CERT Institute for Languages offers instruction in several languages, and is also the sole provider of linguistic training to the UAE military and it also offers post-graduate programs for nationals and expatriates, which features the best professors from leading institutions around the world.
